Propane FAQ

Q: Why should I choose propane?

A:  Propane is one of the most efficient and versatile sources of energy available. Propane is clean burning and non-toxic or damaging to the environment, which makes it a "green fuel."

Q: How much is in my tank?

Q: Why is my tank not filled to 100%?

A:  We only fill to 80% to leave move for expansion.

Q: Why do I have to have a leak test?

A:  Leak tests are required any time there is an interruption of service meaning the flow of gas was stopped for any reason. If you run out of gas we are required by law to do a leak test. If you are new customer, we have to do a leak test to make sure the system has no leaks.

Q: Can I pay my bill online?

A:  Yes

Q: Do we fill bottles or cylinder?

A:  Yes at both location

Q: Do we have auto draft?

A: 

Q: Why should I buy a propane back up generator?

A:  Propane generators are becoming more popular due to the advantages it has over other generators ranging from environmental impact to maintenance cost and ability to store for a longer period of time.Unlike other fuel types, it doesn’t get deteriorated and has an infinite shelf life.

Q: What to do if you smell gas?

A: 
1. NO FLAMES OR SPARKS!   Immediately put out all smoking materials and other open flames. Do not operate lights, appliances, telephones, or cell phone. Flames or sparks from these sources can trigger an explosion of a fire.
2. LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY!   Get everyone out of the building or area where you suspect gas is leaking
3. SHUT OFF THE GAS.   Turn off the main gass supply valve on your propane tank, if it is safe to do so. To close the valve, turn it to the rigt (clockwise).
4. REPORT THE LEAK.   From a neighbor's home or other nearby building away from the gas leak, call you propane retailer right away. if you can not reach your propane retailer, call 911 or your local fire department.
5. Do NOT RETURN TO THE BUILDING OR AREA   until your propane retailer determines that it is safe to do so .
6. GET YOUR SYSTEM CHECKED.   Before you attempt to use any of your propane alliances, your propane retailer or a qualified service technician must check your entire system to ensure that is is leak free.
